Ben Speer- Assistant Coach Coach Ben Speer was raised in Dalhart, Texas. At Dalhart High School, he competed in football, baseball, basketball and track and field, before graduating in 1998. Following high school, Coach Speer attended Okalahoma Panhandle State University where he played football and baseball. He graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Coach Speer is in his first year at CHHS. He spent the 2003-2006 school year coaching football, baseball and powerlifting and teaching Health at Lamesa High School. He then spent 2006-2008 at R.L Turner in Carrollton were he was the running backs coach for varsity football and the first assistant for varsity baseball. Coach Speer is thrilled to be apart of the CHHS coaching staff and is looking forward to a great year of Panther baseball.
